Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Nine hours of therapy each week, split into sessions that fit before your shift or after school pickup. That is the shape of IOP at McKinney Recovery. You keep your job, your classes, your home life. Your loved one gets structured treatment without stepping away from daily responsibilities.
About Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Three or four evenings a week. That is the usual rhythm of the intensive outpatient program at McKinney Recovery. You keep your job, attend classes, or care for your family, then come in for group and individual therapy.
Your first visit is a full assessment. We review your history, current health, and what brought you here. From that, your clinical team builds a treatment plan shaped around your specific needs, not a template.
A dedicated case manager stays with you throughout. They coordinate your sessions, track your progress, and connect the pieces of your care.
That coordination continues into aftercare. If your loved one is stepping down from a higher level of treatment, IOP offers real support with room for daily life.
